Q3Ambientfest Jakob Lindhagen & Vargkvint

The anticipation couldn't be greater:
Jakob Lindhagen & Vargkvint are live again at the Q3Ambientfest!
And in any case there will be music together, made up to a quintet :)

Swedish musicians Jakob Lindhagen and Vargkvint, the artist name of Sofia Nystrand, has for the past years constantly been blurring the definition of modern classical/ambient/experimental music, as well as the definitions of solo/duo/collaborative work.

Their music, released on labels such as Leiter Verlag, Time Released Sound and piano and coffee records, has been placed in several
”Album Of The Year”-lists, been played on radio stations such as BBC and KEXP, on compilations alongside Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds and Eluvium, as well as been commissioned for Palme d’Ornominated and Swedish Academy-awarded films.

They are also longtime artistic collaborators with Daniel and Sebastian Selke through multiple diciplines ranging from live concerts, recording sessions, reworks and music video animation.

The concert at Q3Ambientfest 2023 will combine music written by all four of them, and focus on the two duos unique understanding of each others’ music.
